Latest update on COVID-19
Library Branches Closed
At present all of our branches are closed to the public. We hope to restart our Reserve and Collect service as soon as possible, but until then all user requests are deactivated.
If you are at home and are shielding, or have children at home and are home schooling then we have some home delivery services that can help. Otherwise we still have an ever growing eBook and eAudiobook collection that is free to access for all of our customers.
For those of you that are home schooling, can request a home project book of educational books that will be delivered with help from the Midlothian Fire Service. Please email the service with your information and what material you will need. schoolslibraryservice@midlothian.gov.uk
If you are currently shielding at home, we are able to offer a home delivery service with the help of the Red Cross. Please email homedelivery@midlothian.gov.uk with any questions, or contact staff at Penicuik Library with your information. Either phone the library 01968 664 050 or email penicuik.library@midlothian.gov.uk
Any books that were due to be collected (if you had an outstanding Reserve and Collect request) can and will be set aside for you if you wish. All fines will be waived during this period. Any questions please get in touch, either email library.hq@midlothian.gov.uk, or phone the contact centre 0131 270 7500
